Iam really scared about having my ingrown toenail 'sorted'? =\?

Well ive had a ingrown toe nail for a few weeks about 3 weeks i think ?


i went to the doctors stright wen it started to hurt,and they said i had to wait 3 weeks becuase they couldnt fit me iin till then.


They said that they will just get someone to 'sort it'.. but when they said this i dont understand :S


Can i choose to have a injection or not?


and its now just red where the toe nail starts and it just hurts a bit if i touch it ?


Please help :(

the dr have to freeze the area:you must have this 1 injection.that's it.


I had a nail removed:its not a big deal, but you cant ';choose'; to freeze it or not.


Just get it done and make sure to remember:get a prescription for tylenol3 or something strong for the first day or two:it will throb and throb.My thumb had surgery, not my foot.


You having something done on you toe:later you have to walk on your foot to get home.Take some slippers with you or flip-flops?clogs?Iam really scared about having my ingrown toenail 'sorted'? =\?
Go to the hospital or find another doctor. what doctor doesnt' t treat you for something that is that serious. This can get worse and you could need the nail removed. Find a new doctor
