Is there any good medicine to stop an ingrowing toenail?

This is my second time having an ingrowing toenail, and I cannot stand the pain of the process of removing the nail from the toe. It is on the big left toe. It started to become sore this morning. Is there any medicines to stop an ingrowing toenail that WORKS FOR YOU? What I mean is the medicines that you could buy at a drug store such as Walgreens or CVS pharmacy? Not prescribed medicine. Please help me. I don't want to go through pain like the first removal of my ingrown toenail.Is there any good medicine to stop an ingrowing toenail?
You can put tea tree oil essential oil on it. It's got antiseptic properties, and will help prevent/heal infection. The way to prevent the ingrown toenail is to cut your toenail straight across--don't pull it or cut with curved clippers.Is there any good medicine to stop an ingrowing toenail?
its better to get it removed, then it cant come back, but the medicine never works. so i would recomend getting it removed. i have had 6 done and the 2nd is always better than the 1st.
if you cant handle pain, go to a doctor.


i just used a clean knife and cut it out and the skin around it. and i have never had one again
i dont know about meds but getting a pedicure helps! i had one and got a pedicure and it made a huge diffrence!
