Just realized I have a mild toenail fungus...will this help it?

Ok, so I was taking off my nail polish and noticed that I have a little area of fungus under the corner of my big toenail. I have no idea where this could have came from, but I don't have insurance and can't get to the doctor any time soon. I don't want this to get any worse. I do have some 10% clotrimazole ointment that my mother gave me. If I use this on my nail and around that area, would it help?

Any suggestions for a natural cure are welcome as well.Just realized I have a mild toenail fungus...will this help it?
Your clotrimazole is more of a skin treatment.

Toenail infections require longer, stronger medicine such as Sporonox and Lamisil. Both medications can be quite expensive as they need to be taken once daily for 3 months. The effectiveness of the medications ranges from 60 to 80%, with a recurrence rate of 15%. Lamisil appears to be more effective and has fewer drug interactions than SporonoxJust realized I have a mild toenail fungus...will this help it?
Try soaking your foot in a mild solution of either white vinegar or in mild peroxide. Push up and down on the toenail-at least I did hoping that it would force some of the good stuff under the nail bed.

I don't know if it worked or if after a time it went away by itself

I also took massive amounts of vitamin c and ate raw garlic.

Good luck
i would try Vick's vapor rub, my doctor recommended it after i went in for a discolored toenail that was actually a fungus. either way i would suggest visiting your primary doctor and getting it checked.
The only toenail fungus treatment that receives exclusive 5 star rating from Skin treatment Guide is the nail fungus treatment from Zetaclear

Hope this help

Warmly

Tea tree oil works for sure. Put it on every day until the white grows out completely.
