How long will it take my toenail to grow back on my big toe?

i wrecked my dirtbike and broke my toe. in the process, the toenail on my big toe flipped over and was sticking straight up. today i went to the foot doctor to numb my toe and cut my toenail off completely. he said it would take about 9 months to grow back completely. is there anything that promotes the growth of toenails so it grows back faster. will i be fine to go to the beach on june 20. what precautions should i take. how long will it take for the broken bone to heal if it was a clean break. im just really curiousHow long will it take my toenail to grow back on my big toe?
I don't think there is anything you can do to make your toenail grow back faster, but eating a healthy diet might help a little. Drink plenty of water. You should be fine to go to the beach by June 20. If the toe is still sore, keep a bandage on it, but I think it will be ok. Generally you can expect it to take about 6 weeks for the broken bone to heal. How long will it take my toenail to grow back on my big toe?
9 months to a year. That's about how long it takes. There is nothing you can do to make it grow faster. The broken toe will probably take about 2-3 weeks - you have taped it to your index and middle toe, right? That helps with the pain. You should be fine by June 20th - the toe should be better and a scab would have formed over the nail bed.
Toe nails on the big toes can take up to a year to fully return. I had most of my left big toe nail cut out last year because it was badly ingrown. It took about 8 months to come back and it looks fine. The nail didn't grow back the way it was because it was burned with acid to prevent regrowth in the area where it was ingrown.

A broken bone that was a clean fracture takes on average about 4-12 weeks to heal completely.

Yes there is only one thing you can do though.

You must keep it oxygeonated. The more oxygeon getting to your toe, the faster your toenail will grow so try not to wear socks/shoes so much because it will deprive your toe of oxygeon.

Sorry that there are no others ways, good luck recovering!
Use a water proof bandage at the beach, the toe nail will take months to grow back %26amp; it may look abnormal for a long time after that.
